Tuesday, February 26th brought the third edition of Toronto's The News Show. This month we were visited by stand-up comedian Fraser Young, who started off the show in high style. Shortly after The News Show kicked off, anchored this month by Peter Gal and Ian MacIntyre. The night's top story was the shocking upsets and upheavals of the NHL's Trade Deadline Day, which turned out to be not very exciting at all. Less important news followed, namely the Conservative's 2008 Budget which had been delivered just hours before. This month also saw a visit from a Liberal Strategist; "The News From Your Mom"; an Oscar rundown courtesy of Erin Rodgers; and moving tributes to both Fidel Castro and The News Show's Kevin Matviw.
