Tuesday, December 11th saw the inaugural edition of Toronto's only dedicated current events comedy show at Kensington Market's Bread & Circus. The News Show took the stage promptly at 8pm and played to a packed audience, anchored by a pantsless Peter Gal and the erudite Kirsten Gallagher. This month's show featured "The View From Hell" with the Devil; Consumer reporting AND political debate with Kevin Matviw and Pete Hill; The Entertainment Beat featuring Alice Moran and Brian Crosby, and much more.

But that's not all! The night also had a special holiday appearance by the world's oldest father/son Cajun music duo, the Williamson Playboys (Paul Bates, Doug Morency)! Rounding out the show, we had holiday funk from James Lanbro and Mimmie Adams of Canary Mine. Special thanks go to Marcel St. Pierre who took some awesome pics of the show; plus Andrew Currie, who recorded the whole night for posterity. Thanks to everyone else who came out and supported us.
